Pecha Kucha night in SF
Hey, I don't remember if I ever told you guys about Pecha Kucha. It's a great casual show where anyone arts/design/archtecture/etc related gets 20 slides for 20 sec apiece to show their work. It's really relaxed - It's typically held in a club/bar with people eating and drinking and having a good time. I've been to the one in Tokyo, but we should go see the one in SF.

this is so cool! What a great source for inspiration. but dag namit, i'm going to be in Japan at the time. And the next event in Tokyo is four days before I'll be in Tokyo myself. Darnnn.

oooh good idea. but i'll be in davis for the final week. i'm down for august though. that might give us more time to collect all the pieces. what kind of slides are they? computer slides or old-school projector slides? for some reason i think of the old-school kinda first, but i guess the computer kind makes more sense.
